Terms and refunds
These terms cover the free site check, the full website report and the Fix Pack sold by Majural Studios, Kingsville, Ontario, Canada. Larger projects (new websites, apps, custom software) get their own written quote and agreement. Questions: info@majural.com.
The free site check
You give us a website address and your email, and we email you a summary. It's free and comes with no obligation. Please only ask for checks of websites you own or manage, or have permission to have checked. The check is automatic: it looks at what any visitor can see, so results are a well-informed guide, not a guarantee. We can limit or decline checks to keep the service fair.
The full website report
- Price: shown on the report page (CAD $69.99 unless stated otherwise), plus any sales tax that applies. Payment is by Stripe.
- You get it straight away: the full report opens after payment, and we email you the link to keep.
- Its price comes off the Fix Pack, a Quick refresh or a new website with us if you book within 30 days of buying it.
The Fix Pack
- We make the main fixes listed at the top of your report (up to 10), on your current website. Price shown on the page (CAD $399 unless stated otherwise), plus tax if it applies.
- After paying, you answer a short form and add us as a helper on your website. We never need your password, and you can remove our access any time.
- We usually finish within a week of getting access, and email you when it's done. Some fixes depend on your website platform or on access only you have; if one can't be done, we'll tell you and offer another fix or a partial refund for it.
- Back up your site before we start if your platform allows it. We take care, but we can't be responsible for losses caused by your platform, other plugins or other people's changes.
Refunds
- Report: if your report doesn't arrive, won't open, or is clearly for the wrong website, tell us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you in full.
- Fix Pack: full refund if you cancel before we start work. Once we've started, we refund the part we haven't done.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days. A refunded report or Fix Pack is cancelled.
- To ask for a refund, reply to any of our emails or write to info@majural.com. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we'll sort it out quickly.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under Ontario or Canadian consumer law.
Using our reports
Your report is for you and the people who help with your website. Please don't resell or republish it. Our recommendations are based on best practices and what we could measure; search rankings, AI answers and sales depend on many things outside anyone's control, so we can't promise particular results.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a report or the Fix Pack is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
